We celebrated Jerrod's birthday this weekend, since his actual birthday weekend is filled with children's parties, and we didn't want to get overfilled with cake! Me and Meredith made his birthday cake using the Williams Sonoma Great Cupcake Pan and it turned out so cute! Now, just keep an open mind aftering seeing a picture of the cake and remember that a 3 year old helped me do it. =) Happy Birthday Jerrod! We love you!

Gymnastics
Meredith has been taking gymnastics with some of her little buddies from church at Head over Heels. We just finished our 9 week course and she loved it! Here are some pictures of our last class. During her 9 weeks she learned how to do a forward roll, a backward roll (with assistance), walking forward/sideways/backward/on tippy toes on the balance beams, doing the bars, and jumping on the trampoline (which was her favorite!) Also, so I don't ever forget this I'm putting it in writing. At one of her classes, it was time to jump in the "pit" (a big pit with blocks and stuff) and she looked at her teacher and said "Do I have to jump in the pit? Because everytime I do, I get a wedgie." CLASSIC!

Atlanta Babymoon
We decided to take Meredith on a little weekend getaway to Atlanta, so we could have a last family hoorah before baby Colin makes his arrival. She had a blast! We started off the day with a visit to the Georgia Aquarium, where Meredith literally wore us out! She had a great time, and loved looking at all the fish. She's a big fan, which I'm not sure where she got that from, I guess her Daddy! After the aquarium, we went to the Embassy Suites right down the street from the aquarium, where we stayed the night. The next day, we took Meredith to the American Girl store in Alpharetta. WOW, it's the coolest thing ever! I would have loved to experienced something like that when I was a little girl! She was in total awe, after seeing the doll hair salon, she looked at us and said "Mom, I'll be right back, I'm going to go pick out a doll!" We got by without having to spend $100 on a doll after we visited the Bitty Baby section. She got a Bitty Baby from my parents for Christmas, so we ended up getting some accessories for her baby, Lola. Meredith is still talking about our "family bacation!"

NEW Monogram Personalized Bag Tags!!
I came up with this idea after brainstorming about what kind of bag tag to make for my diaper bag for Colin. See picture below, I love this bag! I can't wait to use it!
Anyways, after playing around in adobe, I decided to replace my fun clipart with a monogram, and wallah--it turned out so cute! Because my personalized children's bag tags have sold great on etsy, I thought this would be a great alternative for children of all ages (through teenage years), college girls, career women, mommies, etc. The monogram bag tags are very similar to my others, but instead of a clipart, they feature a monogram in a scalloped oval or circle. I just had a customer purchase one of these for a friend that is getting married. She picked colors that matched the bride's honeymoon luggage, and put the married monogram on it with the couple's name, then on the other side of the tag, she requested me to put "Bride & Groom." It turned out so cute! Here are a few I put together for samples, but they can be designed to your liking--colors, border style, font, etc!
